   i have an aspire one zg5 that will not load windows. it will start up and give the option to start normally, safe mode etc. whatever you select it checks the disk and the loop starts again. the hard drive is full and before i could clear some space this started. there is nothing on the disk that i need to recover.
   any help would be appreciated

   Could be bad Ram or an HDD. If those check out then you'll have to re-install windows. If you're not attached to anything on the HDD then re-installing would be the cheapest option as you wouldn't have to take it to a shop to get checked out.

   Hi,

   If your Aspire One has an SSD (e.g. 8GB or 16GB HDD) rather than a physical HDD, then teh issue is more than likely the SSD.

   it is an ssd drive. it is the 8gb ssd1800. i have tried to repair windows xp by booting from the cd but nothing happens. i suspect the next move is to replace the drive.
