The Acer Guy glitches and updates

Hi everybody,
This is just a quick post to let you know that over the next few days the site will be getting the promised updates and some tweaks to sort out some glitches that have surfaced.
The most noticeable of which is that the links from the Forum widget on the bottom right no longer work [...]

Once again I’m in that horrible position of not having time to contribute regularly to this site.
Once again, it’s because I’m up to my neck working on upcoming Acer projects and products I’m not allowed to talk about.
Smartphones (silence), new netbooks (silence), new notebooks (silence), Olympics (silence)… Damn I hate this job sometimes…
Fortunately for me, while I’ve been slaving over a new netbook (actually it’s a notebook), there are people who have been working flat out, unpaid and unthanked to keep this site alive.

Just a quick note to bring something to your attention if you’re from Russia and have problems signing up to the forum.
About three times a day I get a mail from MAILER-DAEMON notifying me of a mail failure. I’ve noticed that each time the dominion (@mail.ru) is the same and a quick investigation shows that [...]

This is the last link in the chain to send this site into orbit.
