This is a post that could worry the many Acer Guys I’ve had the pleasure of meeting over the past four and a bit years.
Don’t panic. I know what I’m doing… I think.
You may have noticed that I’ve been almost completely absent from the blog for the best part of a year, leaving this site and its free, real time feedback to problems, posts and other general queries about Acer products almost completely in the hands of a few dedicated members to whom I will be eternally grateful. You know who you are!

Once again I’m in that horrible position of not having time to contribute regularly to this site.
Once again, it’s because I’m up to my neck working on upcoming Acer projects and products I’m not allowed to talk about.
Smartphones (silence), new netbooks (silence), new notebooks (silence), Olympics (silence)… Damn I hate this job sometimes…
Fortunately for me, while I’ve been slaving over a new netbook (actually it’s a notebook), there are people who have been working flat out, unpaid and unthanked to keep this site alive.
Forum problems for @mail.ru users

Just a quick note to bring something to your attention if you’re from Russia and have problems signing up to the forum. About three times a day I get a mail from MAILER-DAEMON notifying me of a mail failure. I’ve noticed that each time the dominion (@mail.ru) is the same and a quick investigation shows [...]
