Don’t like glossy laptops you scratch or attach finger prints so easily? Need something mobile and light, yet having a big enough screen for web browsing? don’t have the budget of more then $500USD? Aspire 5534 sounds just about right!
Fortunately, I get to get my hands on one of these babies, I took my friend to shop for his first laptop, this is what we came across, $399.99CAD with AMD Turion 64btit, 3GB, ATi Mobility Radeon HD3200, 250GB HDD, pretty nice for the price I say! Thanks to David, my friend, we get tot take a peek at this product!

This is the formal continuation of a thread I started over on the Facebook page.
The idea is to get the Reviews section off to a flying start with reviews of hardware, accessories and games. Right now, as many of you know, there’s a technical problem that’s preventing me from getting hardware over to (and back from) the US, where the majority of my reviewer volunteers are located. But the other two sections are outside this red tape so here’s what I had in mind to start off with.
1. First we form a list of reviewers (max 5 but I’m feeling a little generous right now).
2. We publish a wish-list of games you want to try.

Here’s an interesting test I’ve never seen done and had to have explained before I got it.
The video is called “HTC HD2 Vs Acer neoTouch – Coreplayer BENCHMARK” and reading the comments, it appears that “Both the devices are extremely fast in rendering videos. Acer is a little bit faster.”
So now you know…

Just saw this video of the new Ferrari One netbook from the guys at notebooks.com.
Now I’ve seen them (I wrote the brochure dammit!) and I’m also getting one in a few weeks and I’ll film it for you but until then, or until someone else puts up another video, here’s the best review I’ve seen [...]

OK, just a quick update on the Reviews section.
I’m really happy to announce that we’ve been given the green light to have AcerGuy readers review new Acer products.
This is fantastic news as a) it leverages the real voices and opinions of the community we’ve built up over the past three years, b) it shows we [...]

Love giving space to others. And this is a great review.
ComputerTV (Tiger Direct) has this pretty in-depth review of the Acer basking shark sized Aspire AS8930-6247 Notebook PC. I’d really prefer to post a video by someone who actually bought this model but until I find one, this will do very nicely thanks.
The Acer Aspire [...]

Just found this on YouTube and had to post it.
PhoneArena has posted an amazingly in-depth review of the dual sim card Tempo DX900 smartphone from Acer.
As the side info says, the Tempo DX900 is the first and currently, the only Windows Mobile dual-sim phone.
